Can I take my dog with me on public transport?
Yes, dogs are allowed on most forms of public transport. Small dogs in a transport box usually cost nothing, larger dogs have to buy a ticket.
If you stay at Casa Sisu or another partner accommodation in Ticino, you automatically receive the following when you pay the city tax the Ticino Ticket. This allows you and your four-legged friend to travel by train and bus throughout the canton free of charge.
