Never heard of Capriasca? It's worth climbing Monte Bar and enjoying the magnificent view - as far as Milan on a clear day. The Capriasca region, near Lugano, is a hilly area that stretches north of Lugano to the foothills of the Ceneri and has an idyllic lake. From the palm-lined lakeside promenades to the highest peaks, Ticino presents itself as a varied travel and excursion destination. The large lakes - Lake Maggiore and Lake Lugano - are ideal for water sports, while cool mountain streams and rushing waterfalls beckon in the valleys. The best way to discover nature is on foot, by mountain bike or on an e-bike from our rental shop in Tesserete. A variety of routes lead to picturesque villages, through forest and pasture landscapes to unique vantage points.
